You might call it a birthday tribute to Walt. Every Sunday evening in December, Turner Classic Movies will air classic Disney Live Action films for the majority of the day.
December 7th begins at noon, ET with: 1. Treasure Island 2. Swiss Family Robinson 3. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea 4. Old Yeller 5. The Parent Trap 6. Pollyanna 7. The Barefoot Executive
December 14th:
1. The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes 2. The Strongest Man in the World 3. The Absent-Minded Professor 4. Son of Flubber 5. The Age of Believing: The Disney Live Action Classics (A new documentary) 6. The Apple Dumpling Gang 7. The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again
December 21st:
1. The Black Hole 2. Escape to Witch Mountain 3. Return From Witch Mountain 4. Bedknobs and Broomsticks 5. Candleshoe 6. Freaky Friday 7. The Age of Believing: The Disney Live Action Classics
December 28th begins at 10:30, rather than noon ET:
1. The Age of Believing: The Disney Live Action Classics 2. The Shaggy Dog 3. The Shaggy D. A. 4. The Love Bug 5. Herbie Rides Again 6. Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo 7. Herbie Goes Bananas 8. The World's Greatest Athlete
It looks like it will be an exciting month. If you have TCM, you might want to take a look each Sunday of the month.

Sweet! I'm going to try to catch "Treasure Island" when they show it. I've never seen it before. Thanks for sharing the info, James.

Wow, that's awesome. It's too bad I have to work this Sunday, because those are the movies I want to see the most. At least I only work a five hour shift; I should still be able to watch most of these.

The "Age of Believing" documentary was pretty interesting, I thought. I was surprised that I knew a lot of the information they shared! I mean, don't get me wrong, I learned some new things too, but I was just surprised since I have only seen a few live-action movies from Walt's period. Hopefully I will be able to catch more of these movies remaining for the month.

I haven't been able to catch the movies (too much goes on on Sundays for me) but I did catch parts of the documentary and I love it... I hope it gets released so that I can add it to my Disney Documentary collection...
