The third of the Disney True-Life Adventure films takes place in Africa. Alfred and Elma Milotte document a year in the life of a pride of lions in Africa. The film highlights the search for food, weather conditions, and events that occur in other species sharing the area with the lions. One scene includes a rhinoceros stuck in the mud. After filming this scene, the Milottes help the animal out of the mud. Once free, the rhino charged after the couple.
This film received high praise, even from the critics of the series. However, it did not receive an Academy Award, as its predecessors received.
Has anyone seen this film? What did you think of it?
