For this week's spotlight, we go down the rabbit hole to a story inspired by Lewis Carroll. Disney's animated classic was definitely not the first film to attempt this story. Lewis Carroll's classic is a story that has been adapted to the screen more times than most. Walt's first major character series focused on Alice. For this film, however, Disney attempted a more concentrated effort to stay somewhat true to the book by bringing in characters missing from Disney's Alice comedies. Once Alice falls down the rabbit hole, her adventures in Wonderland begin.

While it's probably not Disney's greatest, I always enjoyed this film. It's just classic! I love Ed Wynn as the Mad Hatter.
And something about The Unbirthday Song and Painting the Roses Red NEVER fail to put a smile on my face.

I think the Mad Tea Party is one of my favorite scenes. I love the part where the Mad Hatter says, "MUSTARD! Don't let's be silly."
