"Actually, I don’t really draw all that well. It’s just that I don’t stop trying as quickly. I keep at it. I happen to have high standards and I try to meet them."
Birth: March 22, 1909 Hire Date with Walt Disney Studios: June 1934
Milt Kahl was known around the studio as a draftsman. In other words, he was known for making good, professional drawings. His drawings came to life. His talent made him a perfect choice for some of Disney's toughest assignments. Here are some of the characters Milt Kahl brought to life:
Pinocchio, Bambi, Br'er Rabbit, Slue Foot Sue, Brom Bones, The Fairy Godmother, Peter Pan, Lady, Tramp, Prince Philip, Pongo, Merlin, Shere Khan, Edgar, Sheriff of Nottingham, Tigger, and Madame Medusa
