It may be one, but it's a nice one.

hee hee, well - I figured I'd be forgiven if the first one was Capt. Jack. Even if it's not the "real" Cap'n.

Heheh! That Jack picture reminds me of when I ran into Jack during my Disney trip!
And that is a good picture.

First night at the Coronado Springs Resort, which is only the best resort ever, we stayed in the Cabanas section, so the hammocks on the beach were our first stop after a long day of travel. This is Erin, btw. First full day at Disney started out with a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Erin is a chef, and I'd gotten her the Chef Mickey hat when she was going to Chefy school. Let's just say she was excited. This pose was a shoutout to my mom. She took a similar picture with Goofy when we ate at Donald's Breakfast in 2007. It's the ORIGINAL Donald. Not that Trump dude... and he's WAY better than that ol' Mickey Mouse! This was the whole reason we ate at Chef Mickey's... *sigh* Because we wore birthday buttons all week we were given a lot of free birthday cupcakes. I am not a cake person, so it got to be a little much, still this was cool because Mickey helped blow out the candle. Yeay for MAIN STREET USA!!!!!!! Stupid crane ruins the Magic feel. I've never seen so many of these ladies wandering around. It was great! BIG THUNDER MT RAILROAD! *bounces*

Aww, that cupcake makes me happy. I want a Mickey cupcake!
That crane was there when I was, but they did take it down. I wonder what they were doing to the castle?

Oooh, that makes sense!
It sure did look weird though. Modern day technology meets 18th/19th century castle. Heheh.

The picture you took with Goofy is adorable. You know what surprises me? WDW has the same birthday pins as here! I don't know why, but I always expected them to be different. Well, there's the answer to my unnecessary but subconscious curiosity, hehe. Keep the pictures coming! This is fun.

Erin was all "But i thought TINKERBELL fixes the castle" which I didn't get her joke so she had to explain - in the Wonderful World of Disney Tink would always open the show and ping! the castle would appear. Lame joke, but it does sort of make sense.

I got the joke before you explained it. Heh. *is a dork*
I think it would be hilarious if there were somehow decorated to look like the castle. And then, there could be a sign that says "Ye Old Crane." And then that would be totally and completely inappropriate to the time period.
I have a weird imagination.

It'd definitely work that way!
I mean, shoot, the World Showcase Players are able to go totally old skool and mix in modern tech.!

That's funny last time I went that stupid crane was up too, we all must of been there around the same time. They were adding/re-doing the gold tops. There's only one in the picture, now there's two or three.
