Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "Narnia" fans need not fear; the fantasy film franchise has been picked up by 20th Century Fox, a month after Disney pulled its plug. Fox will help develop the third in the franchise, "The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader." www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7013882140

Well, at least the movie's still going to get made now.

That seems quick. Isn't there usually contracts and red-tape that prevent companies from getting movies like this? Not that it isn't good news.

My guess is that things were being set in motion here before Disney offically announced that they were going to quit the project. But I could be wrong.

That could be likely. I am glad Disney let it go so easily.
It seems so many companies buy up the rights to movies with no intention of doing anything with them just so competitors won't make a film.

I'm a little worried, frankly. But I'm also extremely happy that it's going to be made! Sooo I'll be a good girl and reserve all criticism until there's more info available.

Hopefully, "Silver Chair" will get made, too. I'm glad Dawn Treader will be filmed soon, since they have child actors.
Really, Disney would still be making them if Prince Caspien hadn't costed so much. Since it normally wouldn't be called a 'flop'.
