Welcome to the realm of RPGs, thus entitled "RPG Land" (Yeah, I'm clever. ) Anyways, we do have some rules, so please abide by them.
1) DISNEY ONLY!!! If you want a non- Disney RPG, there are pleanty of other messageboards out there for them. This is a Disney messageboard, so the RPGs here will remain Disney.
The only way you can have your Harry Potter/ LotR/ Star Wars/ anything else you can think of RPGs is if you have Disney characters in them.
2) You are welcome to use non-Disney characters (characters not owned by Disney, made- up characters, and yourself), but for every non-Disney character you play, make sure you are playing atleast 2 Disney characters. Also, it would help if you describe your made- up character.
*Non-Disney characters are only allowed if the starter of the RPG allows them.
3) Rating: You may go up to a "PG-13" rating. As in Pirates of the Caribbean rating. Absolutly nothing higher than that. We are allowing this, mostly inpart due to the franchise. So, that's your limit. If you think about typing something and are un-sure if you've crossed the line or not, think to those movies and ask yourself "Would this be allowed in a Pirates movie?" If the answer is no, than more than likely it is not allowed on here.
4) Play your RPGs like RPGs are meant to be played. Take on certain characters and only play those characters as if you are writting a script.
ex.
(Person #1) Gaston: Bell, will you marry me?
(Person #2) Belle: Never! *Walks away.*
If you start writting up an RPG like a fanfic, the RPG is gone.
ex.
Person #1: Pocahontas says, "I think I am going to go visit Grandmother Williow."
Person #2: She jumps in her canoe and starts to paddle to Grandmother Williow's place.
Person #3: When Pocahontas gets out of the canoe, she meets up with all of her forest friends.
5) Do NOT begin an RPG until atleast 4 people have signed up. If you feel the need to start up with 2 or 3 people, you will be asked to continue it through PMs, IMs, e-mails, or other forms of communication.
6) People come and go, yes, we all know that. But disappearing for an un-reasonable amount is not acceptable. If someone disappears for 1 month, the person in charge of the RPG must give a 1 week warning. Also, if they disappear for a month again, pull them from the RPG. You get your one warning, and if you just can't keep up, you're gone.
Sorry, but if you do not have the time to take on a major character, don't take one.
7) Remember your RPG etiquette. This includes Power Grabbing. If a person decides to do this, the starter of the RPG is to contact me immediately about the situation and I will look into it. First time offenders will be given a warning. Second time offenders will be asked to leave the RPG. If it happens constantly, further action will be taken.
8) "Team Player" Rule (Please refer to the following post.)
9)Do NOT start an RPG without a plot. It is pointless to do so, and if you really want to play an RPG, just join in an exsisting one. There will be pleanty of RPGs going on all the time, and there is no excuse to having threads started going "I feel like doing a Disney RPG, so who has an idea for one?" Any and all RPGs started for the reason stated above will be closed immediately.
I will be keeping an eye on every RPG that is started, and any RPGs that break the rules, will be closed.
If you have any questions or concerns, PM me or reply here.
Thanks and have a magical day!
